Professional Bio
Jennifer Brockel is an Associate Attorney at Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell, LLC representing corporate clients in construction defect, commercial litigation, and civil litigation.
Ms. Brockel is a graduate of The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, followed by law school at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law where she ranked in the top 20% of her graduating class. She participated in the study abroad program with the College of William and Mary Law School and University of Exeter, U.K. She is a Chief Justice Pringle Merit Scholar recipient. Research Assistant to Professor Federico Cheever and Professor Arthur Best.
Ms. Brockel is licensed to practice in all Colorado Federal and State courts. Her practice areas include construction defect, insurance defense, commercial litigation, and medical malpractice, as well as civil litigation work as a solo practitioner. Past experience includes working on behalf of Colorado Governor Hicklenlooper. Her pro bono activities include work for Metro Volunteer Lawyers Family Court and mediation programs, as well as mediation for Denver Courts through their Court Mediation Services program. Ms. Brockel is a certified mediator, and she is proficient in both French and Italian.
