HHMR Honored as a 2026 Denver Business Journal Best Places to Work Recipient

We are pleased to share that Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell has been named a 2026 Denver Business Journal Best Places to Work honoree, a recognition grounded entirely in direct feedback from our own team members.

The Denver Business Journal Best Places to Work program, in partnership with Quantum Workplace, ranks organizations based on anonymous employee engagement survey results that measure culture, leadership, communication, trust, team dynamics, and satisfaction.  This year’s list includes 65 companies across the Denver metropolitan area, judged by the people who know these workplaces best: their employees.

What makes this honor particularly meaningful is not the external recognition itself, but what the underlying survey represents.  HHMR’s inclusion on this list reflects a workplace where people feel supported, connected, and engaged, where leadership listens, teamwork matters, and the firm’s core values are lived day to day.   It is, quite literally, a reflection of how our team experiences working here, and not something that can be achieved through self-promotion.

We are especially proud to be recognized not for individual achievements or external accolades, but as a team, for the way this firm operates together and for the collective environment we have built.  This award validates the intentional choices we have made to invest in culture, to build clarity of direction through EOS, and to listen deeply to each other.

“Over the years, we have been fortunate to receive recognition for our legal work.  Honors such as Best Lawyers, Best Law Firms, Barrister’s Best, and AV ratings, and we are proud of the professional standards those awards reflect.  This recognition is different.  It is not about individual or even our legal acumen; it is about how we work together.  It affirms that beyond proving our legal capabilities, we have built something just as important, a team culture defined by trust, accountability, and mutual respect.”  – Dave McLain

As we share this news publicly, we are grateful to every member of the HHMR team for contributing to an environment where people feel proud to work and inspired to do their best.  We will continue to listen, learn, and build an even stronger firm in the months and years ahead.
