|Mark Honhart is special counsel to Higgins, Hopkins, McLain, & Roswell, LLC, where he represents companies and individuals a wide array of construction and general civil litigation matters. Mr. Honhart received undergraduate degrees in Journalism and English from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and worked as a writer and editor for various publications in the U.S. and China for approximately eight years while simultaneously earning a Master’s Degree in Asian Studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In the 1990s he attended the University of Colorado Law School, and was an associate editor and author of a published Comment for the University of Colorado Law Review.
During his legal career, Mr. Honhart has practiced in the areas of construction dispute resolution, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, business entity formation, criminal law, domestic relations, and general civil litigation. At present, Mr. Honhart’s practice focuses on the resolution of construction matters as well as general casualty matters, from personal injury and wrongful death to premises liability and automobile defense litigation. Mr. Honhart has successfully handled more than a dozen combined trials and/or arbitrations in federal and state courts and arbitrations, and has represented clients in state and federal courts of appeals.
