Frank H. Ingham
Frank H. Ingham’s practice at Higgins Hopkins McLain & Roswell, LLC, as an associate, is focused primarily on construction defect defense litigation as well as representation of individuals and corporations in a wide array of general casualty matters, to include premises liability and personal injury. Mr. Ingham has successfully represented a variety of clients in complex civil litigation cases and has also counseled clients through pre-litigation disputes, mediation and court proceedings. He has also written two-dozen appellate briefs in state and federal court, with several progressing to the Colorado Supreme Court.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Ingham clerked for the District Court in Jefferson County for the Honorable Randall Arp. After being licensed to practice law in Colorado in 2006, Mr. Ingham worked as a prosecutor for the City and County of Denver in the Prosecution and Code Enforcement section. Mr. Ingham handled over 200 jury and bench trials during his five years as a prosecutor, leading cases involving domestic violence, assault, civil unrest cases, and other criminal matters. Mr. Ingham worked with the Denver Police Department, providing training for the officers on issue such as 4th Amendment search and seizure, 1st Amendment free speech, as well as trespass and disturbing the peace trainings.
Prior to joining Higgins Hopkins McLain & Roswell, LLC, Mr. Ingham practiced for four years at a local insurance defense firm in Denver, also focusing primarily on construction defect defense. Before law school, Mr. Ingham was in the United States Army for four years, including two tours in the Gulf (Southwest Asia). He attained the rank of Sergeant during his enlistment. Following the Army, Mr. Ingham spent six years working for Janus, a mutual fund company headquartered in Denver, where he held several positions, including supervision of the Research Department of Investors Services. As a broker, he held NASD securities licenses Series 7 and 63.
As a Colorado native, Mr. Ingham enjoys skiing, playing ice hockey, and his involvement with Special Olympics.
